The drive in movie is a dying industry. The few remaining drive in’s still use film projectors while the industry is shifting to digital projectors. The digital media is delivered over the Internet instead of physically transporting film. Once I got my own apartment I didn’t need the drive in movie to make out with girls in the back seat. 🙂

Bob,
I’m happy to say there is still one down here in Wellfleet, and it shows 2 movies. They switched to the digital projector so they can stay in business.
I have a couple of links I just happen to get today:

https://newengland.com/today/living/new-england-nostalgia/fenway-franks/?mqsc=ED3846957&utm_source=WhatCountsEmail&utm_medium=NewEnglandNetworkNew%20England%20Today&utm_campaign=08-23-2016%20Today

Thanks for the links. I was at Fenway in 1993 so I must have eaten the old franks. I’ve never seen the New Englad split top rolls here. However, there is a seafood restaurant in Plano where we used to live and they sell lobster rolls on the split top roll. Considering the price they charged I’m sure they import the rolls from New England.

Bob,
Those articles came from Yankee Magazine. I was amazed at the timing.
I haven’t ever seen lobster rolls in other than a split top, but I’d eat lobster on a cracker just to have the lobster!

Gnu,
I think this is the best baseball park. You’re close to the action, the park is over 100 years old and the food is better than it was. The problem is the cost of a seat.

Gnu,
They are wonderful tasting franks. Not the top loader kind of bun, the New England bun. It is the same for the sausage.

Gnu,
Just what I had for dinner! I add chopped jalapenos, Dijon mustard and dill relish (I was out of piccalilli). It was deleicious.
