minicapt,
There were no captions on the images page so I had no idea where this was taken. I just assumed all the pictures were taken n the US. I like the one of all clocks.

Gnu,
I remember this song. I think it is the rhythm which I remember best.
It is so easy to feel sorry for this guy. He is exhausted from that coal mine. It reminds me of pictures I’ve seen of coal miners with black faces and clothes who are coming out of the elevators at the end of the day.

Gnu,
I have been retired for 12 years. When I worked, I was up at 5 in the morning, out the door at 6:20 and home around 4. I didn’t have a lunch hour. It was my job to help patrol the cafeteria. My day had little structure. Working with adolescents wasn’t ever easy, but I did love my job.

Gnu,
I really enjoyed this video. I liked that they had women as all the workers. I also liked their clean-cut looks and those turtlenecks.
I also remember all the words to this song.

Gnu,
I haven’t heard this song in a long while. I do like his sentiment!

I think Henry Ford invented the eight hour work day. Thus the need for a time clock to record on your time card when you arrived and left work.

Bob,
I worked in the post office summers when I was in college. I had to click my time card in and out. It is the only time I’ve ever had one.
