Ghana has chop bars everywhere. The ones in Bolga near the lorry park had a few tables and some rickety chairs. We used to go to one on Sundays. We’d bring our pots and buy fufu and soup for Sunday dinner.
The coup to depose Nkrumah was called Operation Chop Bar.
