minicapt,
In my younger days I was the backpack turning quickly and forcing people to get put of my way. Everything was rolled inside, a habit I still had when I changed to luggage and gave up my hostel days. I still roll my clothes so they are far less wrinkled. Unlike Joan, I have one large suitcase and a smaller carry-on. I admit I did have to buy a bag after my first trip to Ghana. It was filled with baskets from Bolga, gifts for Christmas. Now I bring a folded athletic bag just in case.
