Gnu,
My remote is not working on my TV so I can’t watch what I want. I might as well watch this movie.
Thanks

1. Photo is displayed at the San Diego Union Tribune collection, but with minimal information.
2. It would appear that it was taken by Norman Baynard who chronicled the life/times of a community within SD, ‘Logan Heights’, which was largely black.

minicapt,
I read that whole article and found it extremely interesting. I loved the pictures. For the portraits everyone was so dressed up. I loved the hats on both the men and the women.
In the posted picture I thought the two women were awfully dressed up to sit outside under the umbrella. Now I’m thinking it might have been a portrait.
