minicapt,
Now I wish for an earlier time when only the rich could afford to maintain a lawn. That would mean I could just leave mine to grow naturally as could my neighbors. It was a strange evolution to maintaining a lawn, all because of a lawnmower.
I didn’t realize that Stonehenge had been privately owned. Now it makes sense to see the man mowing the lawn himself. That neighbors had free access to Stonehenge was generous.
When I saw Stonehenge, my friend and I had to walk from Salisbury as we couldn’t get on the already full tourist busses. It was quite a hike to and from. What was best was we had access to the stones. This was before they had been roped off from people.
