This made me smile. This video clip brought back fond memories. My sister used to love these movies. She would sit mesmerized by Frankie and his crew. I always thought the leader of the rat pack bikers was funny.

Like your sister I sat mesmerized by Frankie Avalon. He was handsome, had great hair and boy could he sing. I remember the rat back wearing all that leather at the beach!
I do feel a little bad for Annette in these movies. Everyone else gets to wear fun clothes of the day and she’s stuck in mom outfits and no bikini (her contract with Disney forbid such horror.)

Yup, she is the only woman on the beach in a retro bathing suit. I think she perpetuated the wholesome image.
