Charles Bowden quote

Oh man, Stonehenge Druids are so cool – it immediately conjures up Vestal Virgins – excellent cross thought rather than ugly old dudes poncing around in silly white robes.
The pace of distraction accelerates in to Ten Years After and their classic album Stonehenge and its a very short bridge in to Spinal Tap and their Stonehenge monolithic staging that went horribly array.
Rocking the Solstice in Detroit – its all downhill from here to Christmas

My Dear Hedley,
I loved the white robed Druids as soon as I saw this picture. They are perfect for the Solstice.
I don’t know that album so I again bow to your superior knowledge. I had to look up the Spinal Tap fiasco.
Yikes, I didn’t think of it as all downhill until Christmas.

minicapt,
I knew only a small part of that article, but now that I have all the particulars, all I need is my white robe.
This is one of my favorite of your finds.

Just remember that the early Druidic traditions date back to about AD1850.
Cheers
