Gnu,
Neil Young has such an easily recognized voice and one I’ve liked since Buffalo Springfield, a group I wished had lasted far longer. CSN&Y were a great next step for him and Stephen. Their Deja Vu is still one of my favorite albums.

Gnu,
I know the name Kid Rock, but I don’t know any of his music. If this is an example, I’m curious about his other songs.
You did a great job connecting these given the lyrics of Sweet Home.
I’ve missed you-glad to have you back!

The intro to Sweet Home Alabama is easily one of the most recognizable intros in all of rock music. Kid Rock is pretty cool – he has played with most everyone you can think of. All Summer Long has a Werewolves of London underlying theme. Sweet Home Alabama and Werewolves of London in one song – how can it get any better!!

Thanks, Spaceman
Even I know this song despite not knowing any others. I was curious how it would sound and change when sung by other singers. This is a good cover song. I guess the music lends itself well to other singers.

It has been covered by many people – but pretty much have to stay with basic rock band presentation to do justice. Of course in the South, it’s stock material for both rock and country bands. No set is complete without playing.
This is a cute lighter version
