    Not sure exactly what this song is doing among today’s holiday music selections, but you never have to be sorry for posting some Brenda Lee. I liked her back when this song was popular, but it wasn’t until I was much older that I began to really appreciate what a truly fine singer she was (is?). And she did some really great Christmas songs. Let’s listen to one she sang when she was 11-years-old.

      It is a subtle reference to the Santa nighty or nice list. I’m sorry for being bad and won’t be again. It reminded me of the story I told about my nephew and how he’d beg my sister and tell her he was sorry.

      I think I posted this way back when on Blogger before it disintegrated, but I’d forgotten all about it.
