Gosh a really odd one from Smokey and from the Supremes – the B side of the rather awful “My Heart can’t take it anymore” and a very ordinary track on “Meet the Supremes”.
It was 1963 and I would guess that out of the Brewster, they headed to Studio A to record this.

im6,
I love Martha and the Vandellas. This is a treat! I love the clothes, the hair, the voices. I jumped on the Motown wagon right away.

Martha’s time on the Detroit City Council was so unsuccessful and so beset by difficulties that she managed to get herself not re-elected. Quite an achievement
Difficult to know if she is less popular than Aretha, but it is close.
