    Denver was on the corny side, but I’m fond of many of his sings. By all accounts a really nice fellow too. This one has a marvelous melody and soaring notes, and is easy to remember/sing along

      I really liked him then had an I don’t like John Denver phase. I thought he was, as you wrote, on the corny side. Riding in my car one day, a song of his was played. I realized how much I really did like him and his corn.
