Amazing poetry; thank you Joni, Beautiful interpretation; thank you Tom. Only a Canadian can properly describe the onset of winter, and she does such a good job in this one.

I heard Joni sing this after I already had heard Tom. Between the two, I had a hard time choosing which I liked better. I’m thinking you answered for me: thanks to Joni for the lottery and to Tom for singing it exactly right.
