I remember seeing the animals at a place called The A Go Go in West Yarmouth. The building is still there but is now an ecumenical church.

This is like the quintessential song! I remember a documentary about the 60’s and they had clips of a bus tour of Haight-Ashbury. The guide told them they’d see real hippies.
