    The Soft Bulletin – NME Album of the Year and all that. A Flaming Lips show is one heck of an event, Dancing Rabbits and every stage prop you could imagine.
    I drift in and out of their catalogue, maybe because I don’t always get Wayne, but that’s ok.

    super duper pick for a Saturday Kat, surprised which is no surprise.

      I’ve only seen The Lips once, before they really hit it big and started putting on their spectacles. Not the greatest of concerts. I’ve gotta say I like the IDEA of the Flaming Lips much more than I like their actual music (their reimagining of Sgt. Pepper is beyond awful). But they do have great visuals. One of their posters is prominently displayed in the IM manse, gaining significantly in value I’m happy to report. The other thing I have to give Mr. Coyne and his merry pranksters credit for is for simply doing what they’re doing in spite of their Oklahoma roots. Let’s hear it for Leon Russell and Dwight Twilley, too.

        Im6, we saw the FL with Beck during the Sea Change Tour. It was a bit of a contrast.

        I, of course, haven’t ever seen them, but I do like some of their music, this one especially. It tickles my fancy!!

        I’m glad your poster is gaining value. I haven’t ever given a thought to buying posters. Too bad as I’d love something I own gaining value.

      That is a cool poster. I think I had something as way out on the wall of my college apartment. Love the colors in the poster.
