Gnu,
I am not a lover of spoken songs. I think it is a waste of his lovely voice.

Gnu,
I really like his voice. I looked him up and he is American born. He had quite a career. His father was a film director who was blacklisted so they moved around a bit in Europe. He appeared as an actor in supporting roles in a number of movies directed by his father, including Topkapi, where he played the role of “Josef”. In 1964 he signed with CBS Records and was the first French singer signed to an American label.
He died of a heart attack when he was only 41.
