    John Prine is special given his distinct voice and sense of humor. We have listened to many of his songs, but it’s the first time either of us has heard “It’s A Big, Old Goofy World.” Wonderful!

      You perfectly described John Prine’s voice. It is so distinctive and does have that touch of humor about it.

      This song is from the album The Missing Years released in 1991. I’m so glad I was able to introduce you to a new Prine.
