    Nice song but when I saw the title I mistakenly thought it would be a cover of Mimi Farina’s Best Of Friends. Her song would fit as well:
    “When I am old and on the porch
    with knittings around my knees
    you’ll hear me say: Excuse me please
    but aren’t you the one and wasn’t it fun
    way back when? […]”

      Those lyrics are perfect!

      This song came when they reunited and went on tour. I thought it especially poignant then and even more so now that Mary is gone.
