I played Tapestry so much I had to buy another copy. I too think this a great album.

I’m also in awe of Carole King. The other day, I was telling a friend when I saw her in Central Park. The only problem was I was supposed to be home before sunset because it was a Jewish holiday. I would call my mom to beg her to let me stay ( must have used a pay phone as there weren’t cell phones at the time) She won, I had to leave before she was finished. Oh, but what a concert!

It was in 1973 that she gave the concert in Central Park. You were one of thousands lucky enough to hear her.
Mothers just don’t understand even on Jewish holidays!!

True, but Carol King was a nice Jewish girl from the Bronx. How could she play on a high holy day. 😛
