    I am hard selling the new album from Richard Hawley “Hollow Meadows” which drops in early September. A couple of hours ago, good ol’ Richard give us the official video for “Hear of Oak”. Its fab. Gosh Beirut and Richard Hawley in September, how cool is that ?

        Kat, I am currently working my way through the rather excellent “Fisherman’s Box” a 6 CD package from the Waterboys. Surprisingly accessible and interesting. You might want to sample it, and see if it matches your tastes.

        Looks like I will have to ship the Hawley from amazon.co.uk, as the US store is only showing the disc as an import and at a silly price – not sure I can wait until November when I hit London with your Detroit Lions and Team Eric Fisher.

        I forgot you were going to see Eric and the boys in London. I will overlook the use of the possessive pronoun your.

        I am in my penny pinching phase as I am hoping to go back to Ghana next summer which, given the cost, could be my last time. I emptied the bank account when I spent so much on the house update, the trip to Morocco and two trips to Ghana. CD’s are way down on my list of things to buy.
