My Dear Hedley,
You do have an encyclopedic (soon to be an obsolete word I suspect) knowledge of your locals!

In that period of Glam Rock, Ms Q was belting out Can the Can (whatever that means) and stuff with at least double entendres and frankly I always felt that she was crap.
She did just put out a 4 disc retro box set called “Girl from Detroit City” a strange title really, maybe it should have been “Points from The Pointes”
Its…its……a ballroom Blitz !

MDH,
I never found her crap but she wasn’t all that far up the ladder.

Big hit when I was in school, I can still sing along some parts. One of the better charts musicians at that time.

Birgit,
One of the first Rock &Roll women to chart as well.

Dear Katry,
thanks for the music, I always enjoy it. But now I’m having difficulties to get the download at4shared.
Could you go back to the old one?
Thanx,
Alex

Alex,
The reason I switched is I reached my bandwidth amount at Box so no one could download any music at all. I have to wait until it resets. If you would like a particular song, just e-mail me at
katry@comcast.net and I’ll send the file along to you.
Sorry!

Alex,
I just went and upgraded my account. It’s $10.00 a month but I get far more bandwidth. Starting with today’s music I’ll go back to box.

I’ve always loved this. Don’t forget to give due credit to Chris Norman of the band Smokie, who is Suzi’s duet partner.

Chris,
I actually didn’t know Chris Norman was her duet partner. Thanks!!
