    From Ella’s Stairway to the Stars now back to the ladder to the cherries before it gets dark. We drown in sour cherries and other fruit this year. Even the birds are spoiled and refuse to help us.

      Birgit,
      We have zucchini which grows so abundantly in gardens that you can’t give any away.

      Fruit doesn’t grow here on the cape except for berries and beach plums. I don’t even know where cherries grow in the US.

      I’m amazed the birds have managed to eat their fill.
