    I’ve never seen Rawhide, but I have seen plenty of dog treat commercials. 😉

      It starred a very young Clint Eastman as Rowdy Yates. I think Rawhide was on for 5 or 6 years.

      Rawhide-bad for dogs.

        No, sorry, I wasn’t clear. It wasn’t a commercial for rawhide for dogs. It was a dog food commercial that spoofed the Rawhide theme: https://youtu.be/P6VixBOzh64. That’s the only one I could find on Youtube, but I feel pretty certain they made several of them in the mid-’80s.
