    I remember hearing Lovesick Blues for the first time. I was probably about 7 and had gotten my first AM radio. The endless possibilities the radio presented fascinated me, this was pre-Beatles, but Lovesick Blues stopped me in my tracks. I guess it brought to mind the hillbillys in the Betty Boop cartoons. It was the yodeling that put me over the top. God I loved that song.

      Music does the same thing for me-it brings me back to that one moment when the song meant everything. Always and forever, every time the song plays, I will feel the same way as that first time I’d heard it.
