I never knew there was an abbreviated (radio edit?) version of this song. I simply couldn’t imagine you playing the full version on KTCC. I was right. For that matter, I couldn’t have imagined you’d ever offer *any* Deep Purple with your Coffee. It appears my imagination needs a tune up.

Smoke on your Water, im6 ? At least Kat, didn’t play Woman from Tokyo, with the World Cup Final coming up tonight.

      Im6,
Call it an aberration due to lack of sleep. Though I did have several hours, I am exhausted from getting the whole evening together. I guess I was punch drunk.

This songs works perfectly for me. In 12th grade our school lessons took place in an old run down youth center due to lack of rooms in our actual school. Baby boomer generation peak. We chose one room as recess room, organized old furniture, a coffee machine and a record player and “Deep Purple in Rock” was on heavy rotation. It was also the time when we turned 18 (legal age) and we could write our own excuse notes like I was sick, drunken, my hamster has died or I just didn’t feel like going to this class today. Nobody really cared. The scent of freedom.

I skipped festival day 4 today, I merely went downtown to buy an old Willie Dunn record. Yesterday I wasn’t sure whether I already have it. Waiting for news from Greece, more thunderstorms and the soccer final now. Go USA!

Birgit, it looks like a huge no vote . So now what ? Greece leaves the EU, Greek Banks dumps as they are overloaded with Greek Government Debt, no one goes on holiday to Greece as they cannot get any cash and unemployment spikes as 1 in 3 Greeks are in the tourist industry. And then your hamster died. all very bad things

We are resting waiting for the ladies this evening. Radiohead and Deep Purple, can’t imagine what is coming next

Settle down for a long night in Bochum.

Hedley, yup, really looks like a Greek NO. A big bad experiment. No smart answer, I’m still watching speechless.

      Birgit,
We got a handle on the law by lying and saying if kids lived at home they couldn’t rite their own notes. It always worked.

I know unconventional classrooms as I spent my third grade in the cellar of the rectory while they built a new school. In no school did e have a recess room-that makes me a bit jealous.

I’m excited about the game tonight. I’m glad it wasn’t last night as I would have been a horrible host sitting in and watching TV.

      Enjoy the game!!

4 goals is just about insurmountable.
