at least with the coffee crowd you don’t have to explain what a typewriter is! its really nice to hear this again!

Every time I hear that song it immediately reminds me of the comedic routine, Jerry Lewis – The Typewriter, created by Jerry Lewis using that song. I have a sneaky suspicion you will probably remember it also. I think I first saw him do the routine in the early fifties on that old black & white television… 🙂

I did remember it and was pleased to find it pop-up when I was doing a Google image search for typewriters. I even watched it again today.
I also found a video of Liberace doing it. Before he began he lit the tiniest candelabra that was on the typewriter. Liberace, though, had a full orchestra back-up.
