I was also taken by her fingers, long and thin. The inattention to the eggs mentioned just seems to mean she does this so often it needs little of her attention. The boy gets more.

<b..This modern day kitchen provides Mary with, yhe ease and comfort of cooking breakfast for her family and 5 guest she has.
And when time for dinner arrives,after cleaning the house,she will be happily whistling when the time arrives…. NOT !!

I suspect part of her grumpiness is due to her having to wear heels while working!
