    A couple of weekends ago I was strolling around the Aldwych on the way to my old school, and crowds were gathered outside the Aldwych Theatre which proclaimed that the Saturday matinee of “Beautiful” was completely sold out.

    I didn’t feel the earth move under my feet but obviously the Carole King musical is a bit fab.

      I would like to see that musical. She and Gerry wrote the most wonderful songs, and her solo album Tapestry is one I love and played until the tape just about disintegrated.
