I wondered why the guitar beginning of this nice song sounded so familiar, it’s similar to Blue Shadows On The Trail: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HdlYVKBUVE
We sang Blue Shadows with the chorus, same bm-ba-da-da, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have noticed.
In summer I love to watch swallows fly, so artistic and beautiful. Unfortunately no swallows in my garden, it’s too urban for them, I have to walk a few minutes to the nearby fields.
Birgit,
It is similar. Looks like Randy Newman borrowed the opening.
I know it says under the video that it says sung by Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short, but I couldn’t recognize any of their voices. Blue Shadows is a pretty song but so is this one.
