Carl,
Yes, it is the shortcut.

Kat,
I was thinking that must be the case.

Carl,
The dog does have a few problems with the ladder!

If you don’t make her carry the large heavy pack she should do just fine.

I doubt she’d choose to carry anything unless it is edible.

Under a snowbank almost this high you will find my forsythia bush – one of the huge old fashioned variety. The snow is so high that the snow removal fellow is driving over the mound to lower the height of the snowbank. Goodbye bush. I tried to save what was left of it last year after last winters huge amount of snow resulted in the same thing.
It will be alive when it springs back after the snow melts so I will pick big bouquets to gift people, before I cut it down again.

Cuidado,
I bought some forsythia branches yesterday. They are spring to me, and I needed the reminder that winter isn’t the only season.
My forsythia was a housewarming gift from my brother and his then girl friend 38 years ago when I bought my house.

Ya, when the forsythias bloom Spring is on the way. Not a peek of yellow yet. A few daffodils peaking through. Feels like this has been longest winter ever

spaceman,
The forsythia I bought helps a bit as the ones outside don’t even have the tiniest bud. I’m beginning to wonder if spring will ever come.
