Valentine’s Day isn’t really big over here (yet) though flower shops try to tell us that it is. The Peanuts taught me about this special day. I’ve just read about this day in other countries on wikipedia. I like that Koreans and Japanese get chocolate. People who don’t get chocolate in South Korea will eat pasta with black sauce 2 month later. The situation in Saudi-Arabia is funny and sad, red items are banned around this day and you can get imprisoned. USA: average valentine’s spending in 2013 was $131 ?!? I guess I saved a lot of money today, an extra kiss had to do.

That is such a beautiful Valentine.
We didn’t have Valentine’s Day in Ghana either. We celebrated a few American holidays anyway but this wasn’t one of them. I was amazed at the Saudi Arabian law. I wonder why.
I got a beautiful card and flowers from my friend who never forgets me on this day. Even Gracie got a card!

That was adorable. I loved the looks on their faces, especially the characters from The Lion King and the Chipmunks. She had the cutest pony tails!
