If I needed You: The Boxcar Lilies

It is the coldest day, I think, this winter. The wind is chilling to the bone. The sun is a weak light. Light snow covers all the roads and paths cleared from the big storm. Another storm is coming, starting late tomorrow night into Monday.

    And so we wait. The first major storm of the winter, filling our driveways with snow early in the morning and continuing deep and to deepen in to Monday morning.

    The Prince and I are ready. Supplies are in, the snowblower is full of gas. We wait…

      My Dear Hedley,
      This would our second major storm in less than a week. I wait this one with dread and wonder where they will put the snow. The corners are already filled and higher than you can see around.

      Our storm will start late tomorrow night and go into Monday. Schools were out 4 days last week, and I bet they will also be out on Monday.

      I have everything I need to make food for the big game. Tomorrow I will cook and keep checking the skies for the next storm.
