    Alan Lomax 100th birthday today (Jan 31).
    I think you may like these 2 old radio sessions on BigO:

    “You busy-bodies have busied your last body.”


    Guthrie, Seeger, Lomax and others in 1940 and 1947. Very enjoyable.
    Btw, their next post is Nigerian afrobeat but I haven’t really listened yet.

      I think I’ll enjoy downloading some of those songs. I swore I had an album with Alan Lomax, but I couldn’t find it.

      Thanks for this as I wouldn’t have known.
