Gnu,
I don’t remember this at all. It must have come out when I was in Ghana. I do know J.J. Cale though.

Gnu,
I don’t know this one either, but I like it a lot.

Gnu,
I know the name, but I haven’t listened to much country. It was never played around here on the radio when I was growing up, and I just haven’t ever paid attention as an adult.

Gnu,
I like this because I like Civil War era music, and Hoyt sings this really well. His voice lends it self to this type music. I did some hunting:

Gnu,
You found one of my 1960’s favorites. I really liked Steppenwolf. It is strange liking a group butnot noticing when it disappears.

Gnu,
One of the volunteers with whom I serve was sent the soundtrack from Easy Rider and that was how I first heard this song and The Pusher. This was one of my favorite on the whole album. We played it so many times I still remember the words.
