   The Bonzos were really an artsy fartsy lot that showed up on kiddie TV and had odd moments of popularity with stuff like “I’m the Urban Spaceman”

   Viv Stanshall will not be remembered for the BDDDB but for being the narrator of Mike Oldfield’s “Tubular Bells”. T’was Viv that announced each instrument which culminated with “and introducing ….TUBULAR BELLS ”

   And for the Bochum Belle, if I see the song “I’m Bored” the only version that crosses my mind is the one by Iggy Pop

     My Dear Hedley,
     I liked the uplift of this song. It made me a bit more industrious, and I have been successful in getting most of Christmas away. The tree alone is left, and tomorrow will be its swan song.

     The trips to and from the cellar have killed my back so I have a few more trips to make tomorrow. Right now I’m thinking an egg nog with a bit of cognac.
