… apparently now part of “Laura Secord”.
Cheers

minicapt,
I read about Laura Secord candy as I didn’t know it. The chocolates look wonderful!

Mary Lee Candies had a very long history in Detroit, and there remains an old wall sign in Greektown.
The company was formed in the early 20s by an immigrant from England who made his way to Detroit via Toronto. By story the company was sold in the 60s to an enterprising individual who expanded stores across the Midwest, encouraging his staff to eat the product.
Lovely spot minicapt.

MDH,
The link showed the wall.
Boston too was once noted for all sorts of candy making. Milton was home to Hersey’s. I remember driving through the city and smelling the chocolate.
