Fire the room decorator!
PS:
I’ve just read that Joe Cocker died today.

Birgit,
Oh, no, Joe Cocker, is a favorite of mine from days past. Too young!
The living room is ugly 1950’s. I liked the smushed top of the tree.

There is so much cool in the picture – excessive tinsel, the tree jammed on to the ceiling, the double clock, starburst on the wall and another on top of the TV, magazine rack, the multi panel mirror.
Happy Christmas to the Bochum Belle.

Also, the paper is still on the lamp shade.

Great spot Kat…no table in front of the sofa

MDH,
I expect the table. were one added, would have the same great legs with light wood as the TV does.

… and if by chance a herd of elephants comes for a Christmas visit there enough room in the middle.
Thanks, Hedley, Happy Christmas to you and your family too.

Birgit,
I was thinking a herd of reindeer!

Looks to be pretty much like my grandfather’s living room. Complete with segmented mirror and the, ever nifty, star clock. Does lack a fire place. LOL

Carl,
I remember well that star clock. It was popular, sort of 50’s avant garde.

The possibility of future growth for a Christmas tree has always been stymied by the baleful influence of the wood ceiling.
Cheers

minicapt,
Is that when the branches fan out sideways?
