    In fact, I posted this on my Facebook page yesterday! A 2004 “Gaudete” video from a Steeleye Span reunion. Maddy Prior’s voice was still amazing.

    “Rejoice, rejoice, Christ is born of the virgin Mary, rejoice.” My Latin’s a little rusty for the rest, but WIKI has a translation.

      I had four years of Latin in high school and I remember so very little of it the translation is necessary for me was well.

      This is the best version of this song I know. I’ll check out the video. Maddy Prior still being amazing doesn’t surprise me at al.
