Bob Willis was quick, a really quick bowler, and I was very sad when he left Surrey CCC to play for Warwickshire. Along side John Edrich he was my favorite player
I don’t know much about this Joe character, although I do know that Bob changed part of his name to Dylan because of you know who – he probably doesn’t care for Joni either.

      My Dear Hedley,
I am no longer surprised at the connections to football and Dylan and often Lenny that you find in my postings. Now we’re dragging Joni under the bus!

I looked up Bob Willis and John Edrich, only the latter had a wikipedia entry. I am now cognizant with mr. Edrich.

Well, I was looking forward to the Joni article in the Culture section of yesterday’s Sunday Times but came away with the impression, for want of a better phrase, that she is a bit of an old sour puss.

I would be willing to consider the box set if someone told me that there was some fab wonderful remastering that reveals more from greatly loved songs. They didn’t say that.

Maybe Joni is the new Lenny

        MDH,
I totally agree with your impressions of Joni. “Old age” has soured her.

At least Lenny had new music!
