I was just thinking of doing an original song, cover song page on this obscure orginal and the Leo Sayer number one hit version. You beat me to it. I love stuff like this!

Tunecaster,
I have done that a few times but not in a long while. Our audiences are probably different so you can post it anyway.
I used to post just folk music but have stretched. I love the old stuff which was part of the reason for the switch.

Original song. This song was made-over and became a 1980 number one hit by Leo Sayer.

Tunecaster,
Thanks for the reprint, for the posting! I didn’t remember the song though I had it in my files. It seems the original isn’t all that well known.
