minicapt,
The scene is eerie with those masks and the car on fire. I can believe Christine might lurk.

Gnu,
I enjoyed this one a lot. The tune is great. The video was really interesting. The grave sites are such tourist sites. Love the siren.

Gnu,
This was such a fun song. It is so unlike the usual song. I love their marching!

Gnu,
I always liked this song. I also like the movie Sink the Bismarck. The loss of the Hood was what prompted that all out hunt for the Bismarck. Amazingly the song is historically accurate.

Gnu,
I am still surprised this became a hit.

Gnu,
Listening to this got me wondering about Barry Sadler so I did some hunting. This was a huge hit for him and was number one for a long time. He wrote one more song The ‘A’ Team which was also a hit. In 1978 he killed a country music songwriter named Lee Emerson Bellamy and claimed he saw a gun. There was no gun. He was found guilty and sentenced to 4–5 years in prison. Upon appeal, due to the circumstances of the case, his sentence was reduced to only 21 days.
He moved to Guatemala City where he was shot in the head at night in a taxicab by someone pursuing a robbery attempt. He was air-lifted to the US but remained in a coma. When he woke, there was severe brain damage. He dies in 1989.

Gnu,
Gordon Lightfoot has been a favorite of mine for what seems forever.

Gnu,
The very first folk singers I ever heard were PP&M. I was hooked. I have all of their albums and have seen them in concert. I mourned the loss of Mary.
