You nailed today’s mini theme. Both are from the early 70’s- the star of my heydays.
I am also eager to hear the results but supposedly we won’t know until the morning.

Kat, Dave Edmunds was part of a band called Rockpile that also included Nick Lowe. I think that in the case of I hear you knocking it was all Edmunds, but there was lots of cross over.

The original was by Smiley Lewis, but I’m partial to the version by My Little Margie. Mrs. Odettes would approve.

I remember My Little Margie well, how she always exasperated her father. I forgot she had been a singer. These are great pictures of her. What a beauty.
