Yeah! Loudon on KTCC π The man with a song for every occasion and one of my long-time favorite singer-songwriters.
Referring to your hot and humid day, do you know his Surfer Queen? One of his funniest songs though he surprisingly didn’t wrote it.

Btw, this TV broadcast was recorded in my hometown and I was unable to attend this 1984 concert π¦ I had to wait another 19 years until I finally saw him live.

Birgit,
Did you watch the early years of M.A.S.H.? There was a doctor who walked around singing and carrying a guitar. That was Loudon and was the first time I ever heard him.
I hadn’t heard this song before-thanks, Birgit

Kat, thanks, I probably haven’t seen this song before. I saw some sequels of M.A.S.H. with Loudon on TV whenever I visited my relatives in Canada in the 80’s. It was funny, even for a peacenik like me. I also liked Loudon Wainwright with Dame Edna in the Ally McBeal series.

Birgit,
He was only on 3 shows I think. It was early on in the series. It wasn’t all that much a part of the series, more like an extra.
