There’s a burger joint not far from me that STILL looks almost exactly like this. https://www.google.com/maps/@29.4694,-98.507867,3a,90y,267h,90t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sPsdC0HqlpbbRR-I3ZI2ZbQ!2e0!6m1!1e1?hl=en

im6,
Just put those two people in front, get rid of the parking pot and it could be the same place.

Well you little sleuth, you! That’s quite a find, minicapt. When did it become the Arlington Star-Telegram? They must not like that in Fort Worth.

minicapt,
You always impress me with your finds. im6 is so right about your sleuthing ability.
This was interesting as I found the solo picture without any explanation. Even knowing the peoples’ names mad sit even more personal a picture.
Thanks!

minicapt,
I’ll let im6 see what you found in your sleuthing. Thanks!

Thanks for the email, Kat. I’d already seen that link and am STILL wondering why they say “Arlington Star-Telegram” in the video. Did I miss something at that link? Also, minicapt, am I also missing a way to see some of those photos? Series 6 and 7 sound awfully interesting, but I can only find a description and not a link to the images for 6 and the link for 7 says file not found. I *think* I’m doing things right, but, honestly, I’m never sure about such things anymore π¦ …… flashback time….. remember the Fort Worth Press?

im6,
Good, I’m glad you didn’t miss it. I also went looking and couldn’t find the photos. Right now I’m creating so I’ll have to wait to go back to do more hunting. Let me know if you find them.

I was looking through some other S-T stuff and, while the newspaper remains the “Fort Worth Star-Telegram”, as it was in the beginning, the paper evidently publishes a separate “Arlington Star-Telegram” for that market.
It would appear that the material in Sections Six and Seven have not been digitized and thus not internetable.

WordPress needs a “like” button. Or a “thanks” button. I have nothing left to add, but did want to let you know I appreciate your response. (What? im6 has nothing to say?!)
