Bill Watterson quote

This looks about as dangerous as the fellow I saw the other day who was pedaling and texting.

My Dear Hedley,
That is dangerous. I know I, for one, would hit a pole or a crowd and probably need stitches.

The Buffoon in question was not on the bike path and was unable to steer a straight course. Very lucky he didn’t get popped
When I think about it, he should be texting a full apology to everyone involved

MDH,
Many bikers here do not use the bike path maybe because it is loaded with runners, walkers, dog walkers and people pushing strollers. I also think that some see the road as the route for kids and rank amateurs.
An apology would not be out of the question.

The fine art of apologizing would be an interesting blog topic. Such as in Ghana they take an unfortunate chicken to the sacred Croc pool. yell the name of the recipient of the apology and sling the chicken in the general direction of the big fellows.
So little time, so many reasons to apologize

MDH,
The poor chicken seems to be caught in the middle, but it is a wonderful idea but less for an apology and more for a threat. Take that you so and so then toss the chicken into the actual jaws of death.
I have no idea how they apologize in Ghana. Giving a person a live chicken is often a gift so maybe the recipient of the apology gets to eat it.

Kat
So what you are saying is that my “friend” who needs to extend a sincere apology should just mail a chicken ?
August 15, 2014 at 7:16 pm
MDH,
If a live chicken can’t be mailed or e-mailed, perhaps a picture or even a copy of Chicken Little might do.
