This is a great song from the best album. It was the first time I ever heard Dr. John, and I was hooked!

This is like a combination of voodoo and psychedelic, the strangest combination which actually works. I have some vague recollections of this song playing in the background at a hazy party.

I never did remember Fleetwood Mac had the first version of this. I always think of it as a Santana song, a great Santana song.

You’ve outdone yourself with this playlist. The Searchers did best with covers, including this one. My favorite song of theirs was Needles and Pins.
They were around for a long while and always sounded just fine!

I always thought Herman’s Hermits were the clean-cut boys. I always have wondered about their name. It just seemed plucked out of the air. This is my favorite of theirs.
