Can’t let a chance to praise Brenda Lee go by. I always liked her when both she and I were young, but I don’t think I fully appreciated her talent back then. She’s sort of like Lesley Gore in that respect. They both made good records, but I never realized what good singers they both were until much, much later. I wonder if kids today will be saying such things about today’s singers?

im6,
I doubt many of the singers today have as much lasting power. Music is so trendy that singers come and go with the times. Brenda Lee gets air time even now. This is a great song showcasing the strength of her voice.

Gnu,
I gave thought to posting this song but went with the Brenda Lee instead. Thanks for giving me a listen.

Thanks, Gnu. I like this song. I saw these guys in concert once, and they were good, played all their great songs.

Cuidado,
That is one of the best parts of music-the memories it engenders.
