I don’t know this group, but I can always count on you for introductions. This video had great background pictures though enlarging them made some blurry. Luckily I know my magicians and could identify most.
I have downloaded this song. I knew I had to have it.

I’ll put together a collection of sprouts for you, Kat. You can find out more about “them” at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prefab_sprout. As I wrote, from all I’ve read, PS is pretty much down to one member now, Paddy McAloon, the originator of the group. As Wiki notes, he was severely ill and even completely blind for a while (at least that’s what I read). He’s in better (not good) health now and is back to writing and recording music. I don’t know this for sure, but I think he may have found religion during his illness. At least that’s the way I interpret much of what I hear in his later work. In the meantime, contemplate this ditty (which I LOVE) from 1988 and let me know if you can make any sense of the lyrics to “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.” Great video!

That was a strange but funny video. I loved the frog and wonder about the guy on the diving board. I looked up the lyrics and can’t make any sense of them.
