The hours subsequent to a Boston Baked Beans dinner could be a redolently spirituous occasion.

Gnu,
I haven’t ever heard this before you posted it. It is actually an excellent cover. I have to think Donovan didn’t mind.
I appreciate the introduction.

Gnu,
I remembered this as soon as I saw the name, but I hadn’t ever seen a picture of the group before this. The video was fun to watch, and the song still sounds great.
Thanks!!

Gnu,
I love this song. I think it has to do with the great opening. I was only a so so David Bowie fan except for this song.
The video has great shots, and I am amazed at how young David looks. I had forgotten the young David.
Thanks for digging this one up.

Gnu,
This is another song new to me. If you had asked, I wouldn’t have been able to name an R.E.M. song. Somehow I missed them.
You are great in finding new music for me to hear, and I appreciate the intros!

Gnu,
I was in Ghana for Peace Corps training when this happened. We all huddled around the radio and heard it on Voice of America. The impact isn’t all that great when you have to hear about the Giant Leap for mankind.
The Ghanaians didn’t believe we had landed on the moon because they also heard it on the radio.
I read where we could not replicate this feat because we had dissolved the space program. Most of the original architects of the moon landing are dead, and we didn’t choose to replace them. We just ended exploration.
