not sure if I really care for the version by the vertically challenged one.

My Dear Hedley,
I felt the same way but decided to go outside the box.

You are a gal living wild – and I like that

MDH,
I’m thinking Wild Thing might become my theme song!

You have comfortably slipped on the cape of a Woman of Mystery.

MDH,
I’m feeling it!

If only I could ignore his voice I would like this version.
Do I have to see Oregon (Ralph Towner) tonight? Hmmm… legends, great Jazz, extraordinary guitarist, expensive, other errands… I still have 30 minutes to decide.

Birgit,
That would be quite the trick-to ignore his voice.
Go!!

when they were making ‘purple rain’ many of the folks working on it had shops in the bldg where our biz was. esp the place where he got his hair done. i have had many encounters with prince over the years. making that movie absolutely ruined first avenue as a great music venue…at least for several yrs.

greg,
I haven’t ever been a prince fan no matter what name he was using. I think, though, he did a credible job on this song.

I think this is a most awesome version of the song. Love everything about it. I am a Prince fan too. By the way he has very strict internet cops, like Van, PPM and others. I used to leave his name out when I would put songs up by him.

Cuidado,
Thanks for the heads-up. I deleted his name just in case.
I am such a Joni fan I listened wit critical ears to covers of her music. I thought this was well-done so I posted Prince for the first time here.
